Multimedia Installation on a dike in the Netherlands for the "Hongerige Wolf " Festival.
I aimed a work which was accentuate the characteristics of landscape and the mythical stories around this place.
its based on the myth that a egyptian coin from B.C. was found in the earth on the dike.
On the top of the location called “the egyptian dike” i developed a golden half-circle that was aligned with the position of the sun.
It would reflect the sun towards important historical sites around the village.
In the Night time there where two moving eyes projected watching the landscape and inhabitants of the village.
The installation was visible within 10 Kilometers.
